Sharon Ashwood is pleased to announce that the first book in her Camelot Reborn series, Enchanted Warrior, is a finalist for the RITA® award in the Paranormal Romance category.  Winners will be announced July 27 at the 2017 RWA® Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.


Shelley Adina is delighted to announce that her first indie French translation, La Dame aux Artifices (Lady of Devices, book one in the Magnificent Devices steampunk series), came out in April and hit #5 on the Amazon France steampunk list. The second book in the series, Ses Propres Artifices, will be out in November.


♦ Suzan Lauder signed for her third novel with Meryton Press, A Most Handsome Gentleman, a Regency comedy-romance based on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The book will be published in the fall of 2017.


♦ Jodie Esch is pleased to announce that Little White Lies, the first book in her Girlfriends Series, is short-listed for the Dante Rosetti 2016 Novel Writing Contest for YA Fiction. Winners were announced on April 1, 2017 at the Chanticleer Authors Conference to be held in Bellingham, Washington. 


Shelley Adina was accepted into the Ph.D. in Creative Writing program at Lancaster University in the UK, to start in October 2017.


Susan Lyons is happy to announce that Kensington has contracted for the fourth title in her new Blue Moon Harbor series (writing as Susan Fox). There will be a novel and novella in 2017, and two novels in 2018.


Susan Lyons w/a Susan Fox is delighted that Love Somebody love-somebody-like-youLike You (Caribou Crossing #6) won the National Readers’ Choice Award for contemporary single title romance. It was also a finalist for a RITA®, a Booksellers Best Award, and a Golden Quill.

 

 


Susan Lyons w/a Susan Fox has accepted an invitation from Kensington Zebra to be a contributor to the Fern Michaels’ holiday anthology for 2017. The title is Winter Wishes and in addition to Susan and Fern Michaels, the authors will be Jules Bennett and Leah Marie Brown. Susan’s novella will be the second title in her Blue Moon Harbor series.


Upcoming Events:

Suzan Lauder will be participating on the panel for in a post-banquet entertainment discussion called “Austenesque Writing: Appreciating Austen in the Internet Age” at the Annual General Meeting of the Jane Austen Society of North America in Huntington Beach, CA on October 7, 2017.
